Garden Soap & Wetting Agent
Along with our artisan soap maker we formulate a hemp derived Castile soap that is not only a pest repellent but breaks surface tension increasing time on leaf improving absorption of nutrients and proliferation of microbes. This improves effectiveness of foliar sprays and their ingredients; bringing down cost of production instances of crop failure and increases overall plant health.
Hemp based garden soap
A sustainable hemp derived garden / wetting agent to help with pest control, foliar sprays and cleaning.
Native Guard
Nativeguard contains diatomaceous earth and activated biochar producing a sharp crystallised surface on the plant which repels soft bodied insects and soft bodied larvae.
Educational Starting Points
Below are information booklets as downloadable PDF's. We will add to these as they become available. To use elsewhere in part or in whole please contact nativebiotauk@gmail.com. Feel free to share and pass around.

Germination
& Raising Starts
Best practice for priming seed and growing on starts & young plants.

Seed Saving 101
Super seeds that carry the genetic potential for superior performance in your environment & why seed sovereignty is of the up most importance.

LABS
Collecting, selecting for and storing Lactobacillus bacteria for use in the garden, farm and at home.

Saved Seed
Each time you save seed, you’re keeping unique genetic material alive. This helps prevent the loss of heritage genetics and regionally adapted varieties which buffer against pests, disease, and climate stress.
Seed saving connects you to generations of growers before you.
Many varieties carry cultural stories (passed down families & community-adapted seeds).
Preserving them keeps local and ancestral knowledge alive.
Without biodiversity in seed populations, we have nothing. Being stewards of open-pollinated seed is an overtly political act that has been in place for millennia.
